This ambidextrous thumb safety is like no other thumb safety for the 1911 platform. A unique hammer pin securely attaches to both sides of the safety, holding the right side lever in place without having to notch the right side grip panel. The wide levers ensure positive deactivation of the safety and provide a comfortable platform for the thumb of the shooting hand.
