"Nike® ACG Ultrafly Trail: If you want a trail running shoe that moves fast and stays efficient over technical terrain, the Nike® ACG Ultrafly Trail is worth a serious look. This is a performance-oriented trail racing shoe built for runners who push the pace on moderate to technical trails - whether that's a race or a hard tempo effort where every second counts. The combination of a responsive ZoomX foam midsole and a full-length carbon fiber plate creates a propulsive, forward-driving ride that helps you hold speed when the trail gets demanding. It's a neutral shoe, so it works best for runners who don't need added support. The ZoomX foam returns energy efficiently underfoot, keeping the ride light without sacrificing cushioning over longer distances. The carbon fiber plate adds stiffness and propulsion through toe-off, which helps maintain momentum on climbs and descents alike. Nike's unwrapped heel design trims weight from the midsole while preserving impact protection where you land. The lightweight, breathable engineered upper keeps your foot cool and locked in without adding bulk. Underfoot, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole grips across a wide range of trail conditions - loose dirt, wet rock, rooted singletrack - so you can stay confident and keep moving. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a hard trail effort with some technical climbing and the propulsive feel was immediately noticeable - the plate really does push you forward. The grip from the Vibram® outsole held up on some sketchy wet sections where I'd normally back off. If you're racing trails or just want a faster shoe for your hard days, this one's hard to ignore."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner chasing performance on race day or looking for a responsive trail shoe for tempo runs and hard efforts on moderate to technical terrain, the Nike® ACG Ultrafly Trail is a strong match.
