The Nantucket Lightship baskets are handcrafted from finely woven rattan cane, made from the outer skin of the natural rattan vine. The kids’ basket is a faithful replica of the original Nantucket Lightship baskets first produced on Nantucket in the 1800s, and it attaches securely to the front handlebars with two leather straps.
