CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows and knees for impact protection. Dual compound composite shoulder sliders and elbow sliders work hard on the outside and can easily be swapped out if necessary. Double and triple stitching all over the Chicane 2 provide durability when you put this suit to the test. A double layer of cowhide covering on the seat, hips, thighs and knees provide further abrasion resistance when you need it most. Finally, the Chicane 2 is designed to accommodate your independent airbag system of choice. Compared to the previous iteration of the Chicane race suit, Sedici expanded the stretch zone at the shoulders and collar and increased accordion leather stretch at the shoulder and rear yoke for excellent mobility. The new spandex removable inner lining makes it easier to get in and out of the suit while the perforated lower leg transitions to stretch to reduce bulk inside your boots, making the Chicane 2 even more comfortable. Race suits are made to fit best in the riding position, making them uncomfortable to wear while standing upright. Second skin fit - In the riding position, the suit should fit snugly against your body without any excess fabric bunching and shouldn't restrict movement or breathing. Account for ALL the gear - Wear all of your track gear when you try-on the suit to check for compatibility and proper fit. This includes: airbag, armor, back protector, base layer, boots, gloves, socks and yes... even your helmet!
