"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""I’ve ridden the X Approach Lace SJ BOA and was surprised how supportive yet comfortable they feel. The Str8jkt system actually locks in my heel so I don’t get that annoying lift, and the combo of laces and BOA lets me fine-tune tension exactly how I like it. Lightweight, responsive, and easy to wear all day.""We ride with more confidence when our boots feel locked in, and the Salomon X Approach Lace SJ BOA Snowboard Boots deliver just that. Inspired by Salomon’s footwear heritage, these boots bring comfort and precision together in a lightweight package built for freestyle and all-mountain riding. The dual lace and BOA Str8jkt design eliminates heel lift, giving us a snug, supportive feel without pressure points. Built with Salomon’s Fit To Ride construction, the X Approach offers a streamlined shape and durable materials that break in quickly while maintaining long-term support. With medium flex, the boots strike a balance between freestyle playfulness and all-mountain response, making them just as fun in the park as they are carving groomers. For riders who value comfort and control, the X Approach is a perfect match."
