What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Trofeo 2 Bibshort for a five-hour Gran Fondo and the Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois genuinely impressed me. Zero hot spots the entire ride, and the Espresso Double fabric held its shape without any bunching on the climbs. The rear pocket is small but perfectly placed for a gel or a card."Long days in the saddle have a way of revealing exactly which pieces of kit actually earn their keep. The Castelli Trofeo 2 Bibshort was designed for exactly those hours when distance separates the comfortable from the miserable, and it shows in every detail from the waistband down to the leg gripper. The Giro d'Italia 2026 colorway puts a bit of racing heritage on every ride, whether you are threading mountain switchbacks or grinding out a flat century. The Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois is the centerpiece here, built without seams to eliminate friction at the points where long rides tend to go wrong. Stretch mesh bib straps keep airflow moving across the chest and distribute weight evenly so that shoulder fatigue never becomes part of the conversation. A raw-cut leg gripper with silicone backing stays put through hours of pedaling without leaving marks, and the rear pocket adds just enough storage for nutrition or a card without disrupting the clean lines of the cut.
