The CMMG AR Conversion Kit drops into a standard 5.56/223 AR-15 upper and turns it into a .22 LR trainer without any tools or permanent changes. The kit replaces the bolt carrier with a dedicated rimfire carrier that works with standard AR buffers and springs, so you keep your familiar trigger, stock, and grip while feeding cheap rimfire ammo. It's a fast way to run drills, practice trigger presses, and put newer shooters behind your rifle without burning through 5.56.This package includes the AR conversion bolt, a full-body magazine that drops into the AR-15 magwell like a standard mag, and CMMG's stainless steel construction for long service life. The conversion is ideal for high-volume plinking, dry-fire practice with live rounds, and introducing kids or new shooters to the AR platform. To go back to centerfire, simply swap the bolt carrier and magazine your host rifle stays unmodified. FDE finish on the kit blends with a range of AR builds.
