Product Description The Wilson Combat drop-in beavertail grip safety is designed to improve comfort and control on compatible 1911-pattern pistols by helping eliminate discomfort and "hammer bite" often associated with factory grip safeties. This drop-in design allows you to return your pistol to stock condition by simply reinstalling the original factory part. It is intended for use with a Commander-style hammer or a bobbed spur hammer, and due to normal pistol-to-pistol tolerances, minor fitting of the trigger engagement area may be required for proper, safe operation. Finished in a classic blued steel for a durable, traditional look.
