This modular kit allows mounting of picatinny-style stock attachments (such as a SIG MPX folding stock) in place of a buffer tube. The kit includes an externally threaded adapter plug that installs into the threaded buffer socket/ring, plus a rail section that locks into the plug and is secured with a hex-socket bolt and lock washer.
