Even if you have a high-quality optic or scope on your rifle, it is important to have a set of back up iron sights (BUIS) mounted to your receiver and rail just in case your optic fails. The Leapers Accu-Sync 45-degree flip-up front sight is designed to stay out of the way when you don't need it and quickly deployable when you do. It is precision machined from aluminum and features a matte black finish so you can be sure it won't break or rust in harsh conditions. This back up sight is angled so you can quickly transition between your optic and iron sights depending on the situation. This style of canted iron sight is popular with 3 gun competition shooters who have to quickly change between long-range and close targets. It is quickly deployable via a positive lock button that, when depressed, locks the sight tower to prevent it from collapsing during use and locks in the folded position to keep it out of the way. The A2 front sight post is elevation adjustable and can be replaced with aftermarket Mil-Spec sight posts. The low-profile sight base attaches to 1913 picatinny rails and features integral recoil stops and a Torx screw locking mechanism to ensure a secure return to zero. Ensure your AR-15 or AR-10 will keep you in the fight with this back-up front iron sight.Features:Machined from aircraft aluminum with matte black finishPositive lock push button activation automatically deploys sight tower45-Degree angled offset sight tower locks in the deployed positionUses standard A2 front sight post, interchangeable with aftermarket postsIntegrated tool-free adjustable front sightUtilizes a single locking Torx screw with low profile mounting baseSquare-shaped Integral recoil stops for a secure zero hold and return to zero on MIL-STD-1913 picatinny railsIncludes T15 Torx wrench and screwLeapers, Inc., headquartered in Michigan, U.S.A., has been in the business of supplying shooting, hunting and outdoor gear since 1992.
