When your bait program depends on big mullet for tarpon, snook, bull redfish, striped bass, and sharks, you need a net that opens wide and gets down fast before the school spooks. The Betts Mullet Cast Net throws an 8 ft mono net with a 1 in mesh and 1.25 lbs of lead per foot, paired with heavy mono, extra weights, and more and larger braille lines to help it spread fully and sink quicker around bridges, jetties, inlets, and channel edges. Bonded thread, a treated leadline, and a strong selvage add toughness where cast nets take the most abuse, and the engineering, design, and overall build quality make it a dependable option for anglers who throw hard, often, and want consistent opens from the deck, the beach, or the rocks. 8 ft. mono cast net with 1 inch mesh for mullet and other larger bait 1.25 lbs of lead per foot for faster sink and better depth control Heavy mono, extra weights, and more/larger braille lines for fuller opens Bonded thread, treated leadline, and strong selvage for added durability
