The Ruger American rifle Generation II stock is designed with spacers that adjust the length-of-pull (LOP), enhancing comfort, feel and accuracy by ensuring optimal shoulder placement and quicker sight acquisition. The rifle comes equipped with a 13.75 inches LOP spacer installed and this kit includes additional spacers for further LOP adjustment. When installed, the spacers in the kit provide a choice of 12.75 inches or 13.25 inches LOP. To change spacers, loosen the recoil pad assembly and replace the spacer with the desired one using a 3/16 inches hex wrench and 7/16 inches socket or wrench. Please note that only one spacer can be used at a time, they cannot be stacked for an extended LOP. Additionally, a 1/8 inches hex wrench or similar tool is required to loosen the rear swivel stud (not included) during the adjustment process.
