"Women's Altra® Lone Peak 9 WP Mid: The Lone Peak 9 WP Mid is a waterproof mid hiking boot built for women who want ankle support, trail protection, and the zero-drop feel the Lone Peak series is known for. Whether you're logging miles on a thru-hike or heading out for a full day on rugged terrain, this boot keeps your feet dry and grounded without sacrificing the natural foot position that Altra fans rely on.Altra's FootShape Fit gives the toe box room to spread naturally, which matters on long descents when feet tend to swell. The Altra EGO midsole foam provides cushioning and ground feel at a 25 mm stack height with 0 mm drop, keeping your stride connected to the trail. The MaxTrac outsole grips varied terrain, while Stoneguard technology adds underfoot protection against rocks and roots. A no-sew overlay with recycled polyester mesh, an overlay cage, and a molded heel collar work together to keep the fit secure and the upper protected. GaiterTrap attachments let you add a gaiter when conditions call for it, and the webbing ghillie lacing system helps dial in the fit across the midfoot. At 13.45 oz for a women's size 8.5, it carries well over distance without feeling heavy on the foot. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I recommend this one to hikers who already love the Lone Peak and want something they can wear into wetter conditions without switching to a completely different shoe.
