At just 6.1 ounces, it runs light without sacrificing the cushioning that keeps your legs moving through the final miles. The carbon-fiber Flyplate runs the full length of the shoe, helping propel you forward stride after stride and stabilizing your landings so transitions feel smooth and connected. The widened footbed and connected outsole work together to give the shoe a secure, locked-in feel without adding bulk. With an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop and max cushioning underfoot, the Alphafly Next% 3 sits in a category of its own for neutral runners who want a fast, cushioned ride on race day. If you're sizing up, note that this shoe runs small - going up a half size is recommended for the best fit.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a long road run and the forefoot Air Zoom units are immediately noticeable - there's a real pop at toe-off that you don't feel in most shoes. They're incredibly light for how much cushioning they carry, and the carbon plate keeps the ride feeling purposeful rather than soft and slow. If you're targeting a marathon PR, these are worth every bit of the hype."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner training for a marathon or half marathon and want a max-cushion road racing shoe that feels fast without sacrificing comfort, the Women's Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 3 is worth serious consideration.
