"Women's Topo Athletic® Phantom 4: The Topo Athletic Phantom 4 is a neutral running shoe built for women who want serious cushioning without a heavy, sluggish feel. At 7.5 ounces with a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in a comfortable middle ground - enough cushioning to handle daily miles and longer runs, with enough responsiveness to keep your stride feeling light. Whether you're logging easy runs, walking, or just spending long hours on your feet, the Phantom 4 gives you a ride that feels soft underfoot without slowing you down. The ZIP FOAM® midsole is the engine behind the ride - lighter and more responsive than before, it absorbs impact on landing and rebounds as you push off, so your legs feel less worked by the end of a run. A 35-30 mm stack height puts meaningful cushioning between your foot and the ground, which you'll notice most on longer efforts when fatigue starts to set in. The recycled engineered mesh upper keeps the shoe breathable and light, and the OrthoLite® insole adds a layer of step-in comfort that makes a real difference from the first mile to the last. If you tend to size up in running shoes, note that the Phantom 4 fits best when ordered a half size up.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a longer easy run and noticed right away how cushioned they felt without being heavy. The ZIP FOAM® has a nice spring to it - soft when you land but not so soft that you feel like you're sinking. They're the kind of shoe you can grab for a casual walk or a 10-miler and feel good either way."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner looking for a cushioned daily trainer that works just as well for walking or all-day wear, the Women's Topo Athletic Phantom 4 is worth a close look. It's a strong fit for runners who want mid-level cushioning with a responsive feel - not a maximalist shoe, but one that gives your feet real protection over distance. The low 5 mm drop makes it a natural choice for runners who prefer a more ground-connected feel without sacrificing comfort.
