One of the biggest challenges when setting up a modern carbine is finding space for everything you need. If you’ve ever tried to run a red dot, a magnifier, and a set of back-up iron sights (BUIS) on a standard receiver, you know that rail space disappears fast. The Vortex Cantilever 30 mm Single Ring (MPN: CM-305) is the specialized solution for this exact puzzle. By shifting your primary optic forward by approximately one inch, this Vortex 30mm Cantilever mount opens up the rear of your rail, allowing you to fit a magnifier like the VMX-3T without sacrificing your iron sights. For many shooters, "absolute co-witness" is the gold standard for speed and consistency. This Vortex Cantilever mount 30mm positions the center of your optic at a height of 37mm from the base. This means your red dot’s reticle will sit directly on the tip of your front sight post when looking through the glass. This ergonomic height is ideal for maintaining a traditional cheek weld while ensuring that if your electronics ever fail, your irons are already perfectly indexed in your field of view. It is a seamless, intuitive setup for 30mm red dots that demand 100% reliability. Vortex engineered this 30mm scope rings solution to be as tough as the rifle it sits on. Whether you are building a duty rifle or a home-defense setup, this Vortex Cantilever mount offers the structural integrity to hold your zero through heavy vibration and impact. Its sleek, snag-free design ensures it won't catch on gear during transitions or while navigating tight spaces. At EuroOptic, we believe your mounting hardware should solve problems, not create them. Trust the CM-305 to provide the extra space and perfect alignment your tactical system requires. Vortex Optics Vortex Cantilever 30mm Single Ring (37mm Absolute Co-Witness) CM-305
