The Geissele Ambi Posi-Snap Safety Selector 05-887 fixes a problem that's easy to overlook until you're actually running the gun under stress: mil-spec safeties often feel mushy or uncertain moving between safe and fire, and that split-second of doubt is exactly what you don't want mid-manipulation. Machined from 400 series stainless steel, this Geissele Safety selector snaps into position with a distinct, tactile response Geissele calls Posi-Snap, giving clear physical feedback the moment the selector engages. You feel the position change, not just see it, which matters when you're working the gun by feel alone. Deep serrations on both levers add grip whether you're wearing gloves or running bare-handed, and the finish is black anodized to match the rest of a build. This Geissele Ambi Safety ships with one long and one short lever, and either can go on either side, so it configures for left or right-hand use without needing separate parts. The safety detent and installation screw come included, so there's nothing extra to source before dropping it into a lower. Over extended use, the Posi-Snap design also reduces wear compared to a standard mil-spec safety, keeping that same crisp engagement well past the point where a cheaper selector starts feeling loose. For AR-15 and AR-308 platforms alike, this Geissele Super configurable safety selector trades the vague, worn-in feel of a stock safety for something that stays precise, shot after shot, year after year.
