# Dynamic Terminal Performance The Syntech Defense delivers dynamic terminal performance, featuring a hollow- point bullet that separates into three segments upon impact, accompanied by a deep- penetrating core. The core achieves a penetration depth of 12 to 18 inches in both bare ballistics gel and heavy clothing, a crucial benchmark in self- defense scenarios, showcasing the best terminal performance in its class. The petals create three secondary wound channels, each exceeding 6 inches in depth, enhancing the overall terminal effect. Aligned with all Syntech loads, an advanced polymer jacket is employed to eliminate lead and copper fouling, significantly reducing damaging heat and friction in the barrel. The Federal exclusive catalyst primer ensures hot and extremely reliable ignition without utilizing lead. --- ## Product Details - Brand: Federal - Brand Family: Syntech - Bullet Type: Segmented Jhp - Caliber: 45 Acp - Case Material: Brass - Energy: 425 Ft- Lbs - Grain: 205 Gr - Package/Packing: Box - Primer: Boxer - Rounds: 50 - Velocity: 970 Fps
