K-T Industries 3/32" Nickel 99 Welding Electrode Value Pack is recommended for welding thin sections where high dilution can be expected. Often used for single layer deposits requiring good machinability and color match. Nickel 99 weld deposits have lower strength and ductility than those of Nickel 55 allowing more shaping, milling, drilling and tapping. It should only be used where maximum machinability of highly diluted weld metal is required or where weld stresses are not overly severe, such as found in light and medium sized castings. Common uses include thin plates, machinery parts, frames and housings.
