Target locked on the top step of the podium and developed in the crucible of World Cup competition, the 40 is the definitive DH race fork. FOX's GRIP X2 is the most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper they've created, ensuring the 40 stays planted in the hot seatGRIP X2 is the most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper FOX has createdRiders reap the benefits of sitting higher in the travel while tires stay glued to the ground, cornering with increased traction and experience reduced fatigueLower leg bleeders allow atmospheric pressure equalization at the push of a button and the bypass channels increase volume to alleviate pressure ramping as the fork moves through its travel for better fork performance by increasing small bump sensitivity and responsivenessThe lower leg arch design of the 40 maximizes strength and steering stiffness for downhill performance while adding no unnecessary weightFitted with the proven and reliable FLOAT EVOL air springFloating thru axle allows perfect chassis alignment and reduces unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs, providing much smoother suspension movement throughout the entire range of travelKashima Coating on upper tubes for added durabilityItem SpecificationsAxle to Crown Length601.9Brake TypePost Mount 203ColorShiny BlackCrown Race30Defined ColorBlackExternal AdjustmentsHigh Speed Compression DampingExternal AdjustmentsLow Speed Compression DampingExternal AdjustmentsRebound DampingFront Axle20mm Thru x 110mm Boostkeyword searchFOX Model Year 25keyword searchFOX MY25Lockout SwitchCrownMaximum Tire Width63Negative SpringAirOffset52Positive SpringAirS.H.I.S.
