Because of this relatively slow speed hunters and varmint hunters often choose Speer Boat Tail 7mm .284 145 GR bullets. These bullets offer reliable performance you can depend on in a variety of situations. Speer Bullets Jacketed Rifle Bullets are designed to achieve optimum accuracy through the Bullets Eye Lens System. The jacket is constructed using the Knaine II electro-chemical process. This process produces a bullet with a definite optimum sizing ability giving you the control to achieve the optimum expansion. One of the primary benefits of a jacketed bullet is that it maintains the same shape whether you are firing slinging or pointing the bullet. This provides the energy needed to penetrate the tough external tissue of animals and targets. This is also why jacketed bullets are preferred by a varmint hunter. A proper choice for a varmint hunter who is looking to increase their success with rifles chambered in 7mm .284 caliber.
