Lee Powder Through Expanding Pistol Die .38 Special. 38 Special - The expanding die sprue plate is centered at top and has a hole to allow the powder to be charged while expanding the case mouth. This is different from a Coke Through Expanding Die which is why you need both dies. You can purchase just one or two of the expanding dies and use them interchangeably since they all work with the Coke Through Expanding Die. You can charge the case with powder one moment and expand the case the next. You can also remove the powder funnel adapter and replace it with an Auto Disk Powder Measure which will fully automate the process.
