The second size 250 mL is breakable and autoclavable with one end threaded for attaching to a ringlock flask such as a Kleeberger 250 mL round-bottom flask. The collection flask is graduated to indicate neck size when neck-down. The sample tube enters the neck first and then the neck-down tube. After neck-down the sample tube leaves the flask and passes through the stopper-end which is inserted from the neck-down. The third end is to hold a bulb or a needle (not supplied) to complete the connection to the flask.
