Glock Firing Pin Spring 24N Silver Silver. The body of the spring is constructed of wire and is coiled to prevent tangles and damage to the frame of the handgun. Unlike many other brands Glock uses a "coiled" firing pin spring. This means that the spring prevents wear and damage to the frame and that it can be re-tensioned easily. The spring works best with a heavier hammer while giving the weapon a "solid" feel by slightly bending the trigger guard inward toward the frame. Instead of cocking the pistol then letting the firing pin rest sending it to fire.
