Carlson's Choke Tubes 12 Gauge Tactical Muzzle Brake Choke Tube Beretta Optima HP Cylinder Black. The design also reduces felt recoil significantly which translates to quicker target re-acquisition. The Tactical 12 Gauge Cylinder Muzzle Brake features a bore centered design that eliminates side constrictions that cause muzzle climb. The initial constriction of the muzzle brake acts as a baffle or "stacking" which helps reduce muzzle climb. However as the muzzle brake heats up the baffles within the baffles tend to burn out or melt giving the operator a much larger opening to re-couple the muzzle brake to the barrel. Be careful the baffles actually get farther apart as the brake heats up due to the heat generated by the pistol blast. This may cause you to miss the shot completely. The improved muzzle brake also tends to be more uniform with a bore centered design giving the shooter a larger opening to redirect muzzle blast. This helps to minimize accuracy in the shooting range as less information is given out on muzzle angles lead shot slugs or sabots. Also like all Carlson's products a full compliment of bore centric chokes are backed by Carlson's lifetime warranty.
