C.A.M.P. Ball Nut - #2. With a color indicating system these Rock Climbing and Aid Climbing Accessories by C.A.M.P. allow for fast and easy identification. With a shallow depth the Camp Ball Nut fits smaller cracks than traditional camming units. This is useful for aid climbing where the climber may have to place protection in otherwise indistinguishable fissures. When a small crack is present the cam presents with a high force (in kN) to discourage the perpetrator from completing the fall. When a larger crack is present the cam presents with a back side curve making removal easier. The low weight of the Cam Nut allows it to be placed in wet conditions and it can remain in the protected position even when the rope is removed. This feature decreases the probability of dropping the gear you placed making it an incredibly useful and versatile piece of climbing equipment. Specifications for C.A.M.P.
