Barnes Banded Solid Rifle Bullet .404 Jeffery 400 Grain Solid Round Nose 50 Bullets. These were the first bullets that Barnes created and manufactured and were quickly adopted by many professional hunters. The Barnes Banded Solid eliminates the need for a sacrificial rim which increases overall accuracy. These bullets are manufactured to the same quality standards as ATA bullets and are weight-matched with the TSX bullets of the same caliber. The Barnes Banded Solid Rifle Bullet features a unique patent-pending design that allows the projectile to rotate on impact whereas branded solids must be seated to a new nose cone. The Barnes Banded Solid Rifle Bullet has many advantages over TSX bullets and other bonded bullets including retained weights that ensure the projectile won't deform or deflect off of heavy bone. Additionally the unique design of the banding on the shank of the bullet relieves pressure and virtually eliminates fouling allowing the bullet to travel faster and penetrate deeper. The round nose ensures flawless feeding in bolt-action rifles and allows the shooter or hunter to achieve the maximum energy possible with a Barnes 404 Jeffery.
