Umpqua Huds Bushwacker Brian Huspeth, an Umpqua signature tyer, came up with this bendback style pattern which is a killer bass (also snook and various predators fresh and salt)baitfish pattern. The body materials act as a weed guard as the hook rides inverted. A great structure pattern! Usually tied about 3 1/2" long on a #2/0 wide gape hook (Bluegill is tied on a size 1 hook)
