If you're looking for a well-built but inexpensive base for your Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard rifle, then the Nightforce Howa 1500 Short Action Standard Duty bases are a great option for your rifle. Designed to ensure that optics are securely attached to the rifle's receiver, the 1-piece bases are made using hard-anodized aluminum and are made specifically for use as a Picatinny attachment rail. Bases can be had with 0 MOA or 20 MOA of built-in elevation, depending on the end user's preference. Mfg: Nightforce
