The blocks are aluminum with steel handles that are permanently attached including strong grips.In addition being made from aluminum this mould will not rust its light weight reduces risk of fatigue on the bullet caster and it can heat up and cool down quicker than blocks made from steel and iron. Although softer than blued steel if handled gently the mould will provide years of service.
