Originally introduced in 1936, the Model 70 is one of the most popular sporting rifles in America and was given the title of "Bolt-Action Rifle of the Century" by Shooting Times magazine. The rifle features Winchester's MOA trigger and free-floated barrel for excellent accuracy out of the box. The rifle is also designed around the popular pre-'64 style controlled round feed system with a claw-type extractor for improved reliability in adverse conditions. The Extreme Tungsten MB series features a synthetic stock with a Tungsten Cerakote finish. This model is chambered in 6.8mm Western and features a 24-inch fluted barrel with a muzzle brake and a 3-round magazine capacity.
