In the past, Henry have always taken inspiration from the original 1860s-era Henry rifle by opting to design firearms with a removable tube magazine. They're no sticks in the mud though, and when loyal Henry customers ask, loyal Henry customers receive. The Side Gate Lever Action offers up the best of both worlds with standard removable tube magazine for safe and easy unloading and a side loading gate to keep the magazine topped off. This model comes chambered in .45 Long Colt. True to Henry form, these rifles are constructed with exquisite attention to detail, using fine American-made components. Both the straight-grip stock and forearm are crafted of select American walnut accented with a polished brass barrel band and Henrys signature polished hardened brass receiver. All have the smooth action and crisp trigger that distinguishes an authentic, American-made Henry. For those looking to experience an undisputed piece of Americana, whether its at the range, in the field, or on a cowboy action stage, the Big Boy Brass Side Gate is guaranteed to bring out the West in you.
