Winchester repeating arms continues its evolution of rimfire rifles with the introduction of the new Xpert bolt-action model. In a fashion reminiscent of its autoloading relative, the Wildcat, the Xpert carries forward an assertive design and inventive attributes that elevate accuracy and performance, all while maintaining a price point that ensures ample funds for ammunition or optics investment. The Xpert was meticulously crafted with an unwavering focus on precision and equipped with features designed to maximize the rifles potential. At the forefront is the novel rimfire MOA Trigger. Borrowing from the trigger mechanism found in model 70 and XPR rifles, the rimfire MOA Trigger employs a three-lever design. It offers an impeccable pull with absolutely no creep, no take-up and no overtravel. This culminates in a gentle pull that breaks with a smoothness akin to glass. Further enhancing performance, the Xpert showcases a precision button-rifled barrel complete with a target crown and a semi-match Bentz chamber. The inclusion of a hemispherical firing pin augments reliability when coupled with rimfire ammunition.
