This hand guard incorporates six M-LOK slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, allowing shooters to mount a variety of accessories for customization. It maintains the classic look of the firearm while providing compatibility with Type 1 and Type 2 Magpul rail covers, ideal for improving grip and control when firing powerful .45-70 Government rounds. Additionally, the ELG hand guard includes an integrated hand stop at the front for added stability. It is specifically designed for Marlin 1895-pattern rifles with a hand guard retaining cap, though modifications are required for compatibility with 1894/336 pattern guns using a barrel band to retain the OEM hand guard. Overall, the ELG M-LOK hand guard offers lever-action enthusiasts the adaptability of the M-LOK system without compromising the classic aesthetics and functionality of their Marlin rifles.
