Federal's 7mm Backcountry is a revolutionary high-performance cartridge designed for superior ballistics and terminal effectiveness across all ranges. Engineered for compact, shorter barreled suppressed rifles, it delivers magnum level velocity without added recoil. This innovation is made possible by its patented Peak Alloy case a next generation, 1-piece design that surpasses traditional brass cases in velocity and efficiency. With a more compact size, it allows for increased magazine capacity while maintaining exceptional performance. Federal's engineers set out to solve a long standing challenge and in doing so, they redefined rifle ammunition, making it faster, flatter shooting and more powerful than ever before.
