Like all Faxon barrels, the "Faxon Rimfire" line is proudly manufactured in-house at their Cincinnati facility, starting from raw bar stock and undergoing the same stringent testing and quality control processes that have made their AR and pistol barrels industry favorites. Crafted from 416-R stainless steel, these barrels feature 6-groove rifling with a 1:16 twist rate and a recessed target crown. Each barrel is Magnetic Particle Inspected and finished in either Salt Bath Nitride or PVD for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. To bring a distinctive look and feel to their rimfire line, Faxon adapted three of their most popular AR barrel profiles: Pencil, Straight Fluted, and their patented Flame Fluted design. These barrels deliver significant weight savings compared to standard factory 10/22 barrels, making them a high-performance upgrade for rimfire enthusiasts.
