Size Matters. The Browning 1911-380 seamlessly combines two of John M. Browning enduring contributions - the model 1911 and the 380 ACP cartridge - to create a modern, lightweight pistol. Diverging from many of the contemporary pocket pistols designed for the sprightly 380 ACP cartridge, the 1911-380 adopts a slightly larger size to effectively manage recoil thereby enhancing control for quicker and more precise follow-up shots. The extended barrel boosts bullet velocity, delivering increased impact downrange and improving accuracy. Despite maintaining a compact grip, it offers ample length and width for a firm shooting hand grip, ensuring added shooting comfort.
