Rushing to get off the tram with your bike in-hand, you know this run is going to get gnarly. Steep downhill trail and miles of exhilaration are ahead, but are your wheels up to it? The XT WH-M8120 29in Boost Wheel offers superior trail performance and handling so you won't worry cornering at top speeds. You'll benefit from increased stability and the kind of reliability that mountain bikers have come to trust with Shimano's Deore XT line. M8120 rims are designed to provide reliable durability and rigidity while saving your pocket change. You'll love the lightweight feel of these 1,016g, tubeless aluminum wheels, and you'll be thanking yourself for the trail performance they offer outside. This is a zero dish rim thanks to the combined rim's shape and hubs' wide flange profile, and spoke tension is evened out on the drive and non-drive side because of the offset rims. 28 double-butted, j-bend spokes are laced to centerlock hubs for lasting strength, and the M8120 rear wheel features a lightweight aluminum Micro Spline 12-speed freehub. It's compatible with 10t top gear by Micro Spline, and the smaller spline diameter, in addition to more widely distributed splines, limit cog damage on your wheel. A centerlock design makes rotor installation quick and easy. Shimano Deore XT brings outstanding performance to any trail, and M8120 wheels are designed to tackle the tough stuff so you don't have to worry about ramping up the speed. This new generation of wheels specifically focuses on handling and reliability so you can focus on enjoying your ride. And, with a simple setup, you'll save time with maintenance so you can spend more time out on your pre-snow bucket list.
