Pearl Izumi Elevate Elbow Guard Elevate your protection Trading in comfort and pedaling efficiency for increased protection is a thing of the past. The Pearl Izumi Elevate Elbow Guard is a performance elbow guard that features excellent breathability and mobility, while still offering premium impact protection. At the heart of the Elevate Elbow Guards are the D3O Viscoelastic LP1 pads, which absorb impact energy and have a certified level-one protection rating. The secret behind the D3O pads is that they stay soft and flexible while you are riding and harden upon impact, providing you with both mobility and protection in one pad. The main fabric of the sleeve is made up of Cordura four-way stretch fabric for a super-comfortable and durable construction. Mesh panels on the front of the arm guards allow your arms to breath so you don't get too hot and the D3O pads are ventilated as well for comfort all ride long. Lastly, internal silicone gripper bands at the bicep and forearm ensure the elbow guards will not slip when you are riding.
