It's said every year, 11 million metric tons of plastics enter our ocean on top of the estimated 200 million metric tons that currently circulate through our marine environments. It's hard to adequately register words on paper until one visually sees how ocean life is impacted by human trash. We're hopeful this Trash Free Seas graphic design can serve as a reminder of the serious consequences trash in our oceans present, while also being an icon of hope itself given we can make a difference.
