VKTR Industries VK-1 M-LOK Handguard Features The Vktr Industries VK-1 Handguard is machined from aircraft grade heat-treated aluminum extrusion giving it the strength to handle demanding use while keeping overall weight to a minimum. A continuous M1913 Picatinny rail runs along the 12 o clock position creating an uninterrupted mounting surface from the rear of the upper receiver all the way to the front of the handguard when paired with a VKTR upper. That unbroken top rail simplifies mounting optics sights and other top-mounted accessories without gaps or misalignment between the receiver and handguard. M-LOK slots around the remaining sides of the handguard allow direct attachment of rail sections lights grips and other accessories exactly where they are needed. Vktr designed the VK-1 to be as slim and low profile as possible reducing bulk in the hand compared to bulkier quad rail designs while still offering full M-LOK compatibility. At 9.85 inches long the handguard is sized to fit M16 pattern rifles with appropriate barrel and gas system configurations.
