Traditions Ram-T Rod Features The Traditions Ram-T Rod is telescopic providing an additional 3.5 inches of length for loading or cleaning when extended beyond its closed 24.5 inch length. Simply unlocking it with a quarter turn extending and locking it into place gives the shooter a longer reach without carrying a separate bulkier full-length rod. A t-handle conveniently flips out for a more comfortable loading experience giving the hands better leverage when seating a projectile firmly on the powder charge. This improved design allows for a lighter rod overall and the ability for a quicker follow up shot in the field a real advantage for muzzleloader hunters. When finished the rod easily retracts back into its body and stores neatly in the thimbles eliminating the need to carry a loose jag or separate storage tube. Made of anodized aluminum the Ram-T Rod stays lightweight while resisting the corrosion that can affect unprotected steel rods exposed to powder fouling and moisture. It comes with a 10/32 threaded brass loading tip compatible with standard muzzleloader accessories for loading and cleaning tasks. Purpose-built to fit Vortek StrikerFire models with a 28 inch barrel this Ram-T Rod is a practical upgrade for sale at GrabAGun.
