GBRS Group Lerna Mount Kit Features The GBRS Group Lerna Mount Kit was designed as the first optic mount built specifically for end users who need extra optic height to clear equipment like earpro and comms headsets gas masks CBRN gear and night vision devices. Its 2.91 optic centerline raises the Aimpoint ACRO well above standard mounting height giving shooters a clearer sight picture despite obstructions that would otherwise force an awkward head position. This raised mounting position supports a more athletic heads-up shooting stance letting the shooter maintain a vertical spine rather than hunching down to find the optic. A vertical spine position also translates more effectively to presenting body armor plates toward a threat which matters in a defensive encounter. By keeping the head in a natural upright position the Lerna Mount Kit supports faster visual processing and improved situational awareness during dynamic movement and target engagement. The mount is purpose-built to fit the Aimpoint ACRO ensuring a precise secure connection between the optic and the firearm. Finished in Flat Dark Earth with a durable anodized coating the mount is built to match common tactical color schemes while standing up to hard use. For shooters who run night vision headsets or other headborne gear alongside an ACRO optic the GBRS Group Lerna Mount Kit solves a real ergonomic problem other mounts don t address.
