Machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and finished in black nitride the cap is built to withstand the heat and pressure generated at the muzzle during repeated firing. Its total length is just 0.53 inches with 0.18 inches added specifically by the flash hider portion of the design. The cap is bored for 10mm matching the RXD designation and giving it compatibility with both 9mm and 10mm suppressor applications.
