Brownells Magazine Follower Refill Features The Brownells Magazine Follower Refill is built from steel to hold up to the repeated cycling that occurs inside a .22 LR tube magazine over years of use. The end caps carry a blued finish while the followers are left in a natural finish matching the original component look on Remington 522 and 572 rifles. Because worn or damaged followers and caps can cause feeding issues replacing them with fresh components helps restore smooth reliable cycling. This makes the refill kit a useful maintenance item for owners keeping an older rimfire rifle running well. Packaged as a two-pack the refill gives owners a spare set on hand for future maintenance needs. Fitting the Remington 522 and 572 tube magazine system specifically it is a targeted replacement rather than a generic universal part. Because tube magazine internals wear gradually with use having a refill kit ready means downtime for repairs is minimal. This is a practical accessory for anyone maintaining a Remington 522 or 572 rimfire rifle over the long term.
