Doubletap Match Features The Doubletap Match .45 ACP load drives a 230 grain round nose bullet to 850 feet per second from a 5 1911 barrel producing 369 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle. Doubletap builds this load to match grade standards meaning shooters can expect tight consistent groups round after round. The 230 grain weight is the classic .45 ACP benchmark offering the recoil characteristics and terminal ballistics the cartridge has long been known for. That combination makes the load equally suited to the range and to feeding function tests in a duty or carry pistol. The round nose bullet profile is prized for its reliable feeding across a wide variety of .45 ACP pistols from full size 1911s to compact polymer framed carry guns. Doubletap s match grade quality control keeps velocity and pressure consistent from cartridge to cartridge an important factor for shooters practicing precision drills. Because the load mirrors established .45 ACP ballistics shooters can use it to build confidence with their duty or competition ammunition before switching to a defensive load. This Doubletap Match 230 grain load is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want consistent dependable .45 ACP performance.
