The RockShox SIDLuxe Ultimate 3P is the rear shock for XC riders who refuse to give up travel on the descents to stay competitive on the climbs. The three-position damper covers Open for rough terrain, Pedal for mixed ground, and Lock for pure power output across the full range of an XC race lap without asking us to stop and fiddle. Solo Air spring and tune options let us match spring rate precisely to rider weight, so the 247-gram chassis is never working against us on course. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I run this paired with a SID fork because the 3P damper lets me lock out on flat fireroad climbs and open up fully the moment the trail turns chunky, all without reaching for a separate lever for each end of the bike."
