The L. L. Bean Cold Buster Snowsuit adds a 3M Scotchlite reflective panel across the back, so a kid running ahead at dusk stays easy to spot. Thinsulate insulation and a wind- and water-resistant shell keep that same kid warm and dry through a full afternoon outside, while internal gaiters and zip vents block snow at the boots. Reinforced knees, seat, and cuffs stand up to the falling and climbing that come with actual outdoor play. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I spotted my kid from across the yard the second the porch light hit that reflective patch on their back. That's one less thing to worry about once the sun starts going down before dinner."
