Remington Core-Lokt Handgun Features The Remington Core-Lokt Handgun line brings the same Deadly Mushroom expansion that has dropped more deer than any other bullet since 1939 into a load engineered specifically for handguns. The 240 grain jacketed hollow point is tuned for pistol length barrels and the lower velocities typical of revolvers ensuring consistent expansion rather than the over-penetration or under-performance that rifle-tuned bullets can produce when fired from a shorter barrel. This gives handgun hunters confidence that their round will perform as designed at realistic hunting distances. It is purpose built for hunters who rely on a sidearm rather than a long gun for backup or primary hunting duty. Each round is housed in a nickel plated case which resists corrosion and makes chambered or spent rounds easier to spot in low light conditions common on early morning or evening hunts. The 20 round box is sized for range sessions and hunting trips alike giving shooters enough rounds to verify point of impact before heading afield. Remington s reputation for consistent dependable ammunition backs this load built for hunters chasing whitetail hogs or black bear with a pistol or revolver. Core-Lokt Handgun ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want proven terminal performance in a handgun-specific load.
