Leapers OP3 Micro SLS Features The Leapers OP3 Micro SLS is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a matte black anodization that resists wear from holster carry and repeated handling. Its 4 MOA single red dot offers 8 brightness intensity settings adjustable manually or automatically through a surrounding light sensor that reads ambient conditions and adjusts the dot for visibility without washing out the sight picture. Crisp 1 MOA per click adjustments let the shooter dial in precise zero and a large multi-coated glass lens field of view keeps target acquisition fast in both static and dynamic shooting scenarios. An IPX7 waterproof rating means the optic keeps functioning through rain or full submersion. The side-loading battery compartment is a standout feature letting the shooter change batteries without removing the optic from the slide or rail and losing zero in the process backed by over 15 000 hours of battery life at the middle brightness setting. Built on the widely adopted RMR footprint the OP3 Micro SLS mounts directly to most optics-ready pistol systems and co-witnesses with most suppressor-height iron sights. A removable low-profile Picatinny mounting base is included for use on a rifle adding versatility beyond pistol-slide mounting. A laser-engraved tertiary aiming point on the rear face of the optic hood gives a backup reference point if the electronic dot ever fails. For shooters who want a rugged footprint-compatible red dot that serves both a pistol and a rifle the OP3 Micro SLS covers both roles well.
